When the war started, we knew we had to convert our sadness and frustration into action. Like so many people, we figured church donations would magically get to the front line. We quickly learned the realities. After working with and observing so many other organizations, we experienced firsthand the bureaucratic hoops and logistical hurdles to actually getting the right materials into the right hands in Ukraine.
Now, in an ever-changing warscape, we've navigated the complex supply chain issues globally, and filled airplanes with vital supplies. We’ve also carried in our own hands hundreds of suitcases of supplies from manufacturers in California to the front lines. This includes food for families and their children. We are elated that nations like the US have pledged money to Ukraine, but while these funds generally go to important items like air defense systems, we've seen firsthand that they are not trickling down to the actual men and women fighting, nor to the families just trying to stay alive. The age-old reality of warfare holds true: Hitting the enemy with artillery is a great first step (and looks good on the news), but ground is not won until they are engaged in close combat. And Ukrainian soldiers are still pleading for the things they need to stay alive.
We do not supply weapons or ammunition. We do supply trauma and surgical medical kits, tourniquets, and tactical equipment like drones, gas masks, two way radios, night vision goggles, scopes, red dot, Leatherman tools, elbow pads, knee pads, winter and summer uniforms, boots, helmets, sleeping bags, and rape kits. We also found the best deal on quality bulletproof vests in the world, and quickly got them onto Ukrainian defenders, men and women. Some took multiple Kalashnikov rounds to the chest, but they returned to their families.
In Ukraine, our contacts on the front line update us daily on their ever-shifting needs. At home in the U.S., we’ve become the highest priority customer with our medical and tactical suppliers. We have zero overhead and work on a volunteer basis.
Every cent donated goes to saving lives. No more throwing money at some organization and hoping it does some good.
We know how hard it is for so many of those organizations to actually do good with the money, because they come to us for supplies and logistics: Churches, coalitions, Sig Sauer, even Zelensky’s office, have all come to us. As media coverage lessens, the genocide continues, as Putin wants.
So now more than ever, we need your help. Thank you.
